A NATURAL DECAF WHERE ONLY THE FLAVOUR REMAINS
The Colombian import that will have you asking, "Are you sure this is decaf?" This aromatic roast will put the scent of soothing baking spices in mind, while easily passing for high-quality caffeinated coffee.
Sugar cane ethyl acetate (E.A.) processing, also commonly referred to as "natural decaffeinated", starts by fermenting molasses derived from sugar cane and ends with the well honed and natural dissolution of caffeine from the bean. The beans are stripped bare leaving behind only one of the most flavour-full decaf experiences you'll ever have.
Good coffee doesn’t always have to come during your busy and productive times of day. Solitude is built for the quieter times in your day, like after dinner when you want to finish your meal with a warm digestif, but also want to be able to fall asleep in a few hours.
Solitude is a decaf that comes with no sacrifices to taste, only added flexibility in terms of what times of the day you can indulge. We also know decaf gets a bad rap for tasting like shit.
This decaf isn’t one of those decafs.
In Solitude you’ll find vanilla, poached pear, and blackberries. It is a very sweet and well balanced cup of (yes, decaf) coffee.

FAQ
Q: How do they decaffeinate this coffee?
A: Through an ethyl acetate process. See https://www.coffeeandhealth.org/all-about-coffee/decaffeination/ for more info.
Q: How should you brew this coffee?
A: This coffee is a lighter roasted coffee, meaning it will favor a higher brew ratio and longer infusion times. For espresso we recommend 18-19 grams of coffee, a 91C/195F brewing temperature, pulled to a 40-45 grams yield, within 20-25 seconds.
For pour over methods, we recommend 1 gram of coffee for every 14 to 16 grams of water, brewed in 3 ½ to 4 minutes, at a brew temperature of 94C/201F.
Q: Is this actually good?
A: Yes, you will actually like this. Emphatically, yes. This is a decaf that you will like. If you’re a decaf fighter, fight us on this.

A: Zero. None.
Q: Is this good for espresso?
